Description.
The Goleta Beach is one
of three urban beaches in the town of Corralejo, and
for us, the best and bigger.
It is shaped like two
"crescents" together: the area further north towards
the port, is quieter and smaller, and the south is
more popular and more services. It is in the middle
of town, with privileged views of Lobos Island
(Wolfs Island) and the marina and shopping..
It has 2 bars restaurants and
a sports school (Ventura Surf)) in the center of
the beach. It also has beds, showers, toilets
and disabled access.
To reach this
beach from the town of Corralejo, in the main street
(Avenida Nuestra Senora del Carmen), take
the street Network (Dune Park Apartments) and come
straight to the beach. You can park in the same
street.
My Opinion:
A tourist town
beach but with good equipment, where to spend the
day and where you can eat at one of the two
restaurants with terrace situated on the beach. In
August, it is sometimes very crowded.
