Archaeological Museum in Betancuria

 

This small museum located in the heart of Fuerteventura (Betancuria, picturesque town and administrative capital of the island for many years) is a must for any visitor wishing tolearn more about the history and lifestyle of the "Mahos" ancient inhabitants of Fuerteventura.
Through its explanatory panels abound quality photos and prints, we know climate data in the past, the first conquests on the lifestyle of the ancient inhabitants, their geographical locations and their internal conflicts..

The museum has a collection of useful tools and something that facilitated life in the harsh conditions that existed in the past.
The small museum is very pleasant and all its many panels is high historical and educational interest.
After visiting the museum do not miss this beautiful town full of cultural attractions such as churches, old houses with balconies typical or its many souvenir shops.
