Guise and Ayose Viewpoint

Before coming to Betancuria, on Highway FTV-30, and passed Morro Velosa viewpoint, we arrive at Fuerteventura latest Viewpoint, in which we find a pleasant surprise: besides being an excellent viewpoint of both the northern half of Fuerteventura as Betancuria Valley, there are two impressive bronze statues representing the Kings of Ancient Fuerteventura before the conquest in 1402, Ayose and Guise, who ruled the two kingdoms which divided the island Jandia Maxorata, and were separated by a defensive wall which is believed to have been located where now stands this viewpoint.
The statues are bronze and measure nearly four meters high, and represent the two kings with their staffs.

This point has quickly become a must for everyone in tourists from Fuerteventura,  whichtakes a picture of the hand of one of the Kings (Will be Ayose or Guise?), So that the finger is King "polished "by the thousands of hands that have grasped to take the appropriate souvenir photo.
The sculptures are a donation from the company OHL, are 4.5 meters high and about 1.5 meters wide and are the work of Emiliano Hernandez. Rai
sed initially installed in the square next to the conference center of the capital, but finally opted for a flagship site and associate the very presence of the former leaders of the Mahos.
This geographical location has also become a venue for public events and celebrations and political claims.
